Alaskan King Sleep mattresses are made to order, and we do our best to fulfill and ship orders promptly. After completing your purchase, you’ll receive an email with the estimated production and shipping timeline.

While all three mattress parcels will leave our facility at the same time, we cannot guarantee they’ll arrive together. You’ll receive a FedEx shipping notification and a tracking number to view the status of each parcel. If your complete mattress order does not arrive on the same day, your 120-night sleep trial will begin on the delivery date of the last parcel to arrive.

Yes, you’ll receive a shipping notification and tracking information from FedEx when your order leaves our Arizona facility. Your Alaskan King Mattress will ship in three parcels, and the tracking number provided will allow you to view the location of each.

Unfortunately, we are not able to specify exact delivery dates through FedEx. However, once you've placed your order, you can use FedEx.com to manage deliveries. After receiving your shipping confirmation email, go to FedEx.com and select "Manage Your Delivery" under the "Tracking" menu. It is free and easy to set up FedEx Delivery Manager. This tool will allow you to redirect packages to a location for pickup, put a temporary hold on packages for up to 14 days, sign up for tracking alerts, or leave specific delivery instructions for your driver.

Mattress Sleep Trial

Your Alaskan King Sleep mattress purchase includes a 120-night at-home sleep trial. If against all expectations, you don't love your mattress, you can return it for a full refund. Our logistics partner will pick up the mattress; you're only responsible for a $99 flat fee to cover labor and one-way transportation.

The trial begins the day your mattress arrives. Sleep on your Alaskan King Sleep mattress for at least 30 nights before making a decision—this gives you enough time to adjust to your new bed and fully experience its comfort and support benefits.

If you wish to return your mattress, please email us at support@alaskankingsleep.com. To qualify for a full refund, you must initiate the return process after the 30-night break-in period but before the 120-night trial expires.

Return Process

1. Submit Request: Please email us to request a return. Once your request is received, a member of our customer support team will reach out to walk you through the rest of the process.

2. Schedule Pick-Up: We'll set up the scheduled mattress pick-up with one of our third-party logistics partners. The $99 flat fee (deducted from your refund) covers the pick-up and transportation.

3. Day of Pick-Up: Our support team member will provide instructions on what to do on the scheduled pick-up day. Typically, you leave the mattress unboxed for pick-up, and the driver does the rest. Then, email us a scan or digital photo of the pick-up receipt.

4. Refund: Once we receive a copy of the pick-up receipt, we'll process your refund in full (minus the $99 flat fee). You will receive a Refund Notification via email.

Note: If your mattress order (three parcels) does not arrive together, your 120-night trial will begin on the delivery date of the last parcel to arrive.

The break-in period is the first 30 nights of the 120-night sleep trial. You must keep your new mattress for the full break-in period, but if you don't love it, you then have until the end of the sleep trial to return it for a full refund.

As with a new pair of shoes, it takes some time for the materials in your mattress to break in, and your bed may feel a bit firm at first. Sleeping on your new bed for 30 days gives you time to get used to the mattress and make an informed decision about keeping or returning it.

To start a return, please contact us at support@alaskankingsleep.com before the 120-night trial period ends. An Alaskan King Sleep customer service expert will guide you through the process.

Note: We do not accept mattress returns after the trial period. However, we offer our Lifetime Warranty with every mattress.

Mattress Warranty

The lifetime Limited Warranty covers defects to an Alaskan King Sleep mattress not caused by normal wear and tear. If your mattress has a defect, we'll either repair or replace it, ensuring it meets our quality standards and your full satisfaction. You can read the full Limited Warranty terms here.

All Alaskan King Sleep mattresses include a lifetime limited warranty ("Limited Warranty") for the original purchaser. Please see the details below.

Within 2 Years of Purchase– If deemed defective, Alaskan King Sleep will replace your mattress at no cost to you.

Within 3-10 Years of Purchase– If deemed defective, Alaskan King Sleep will completely repair and re-cover your mattress. The only charge to you will be $99 each way to cover transportation costs.

Within 11-25 Years of Purchase– If deemed defective, Alaskan King Sleep will replace your mattress for a prorated replacement charge: 50 percent of the original purchase price.

After 25 of Purchase– If deemed defective, Alaskan King Sleep will replace your mattress for a prorated replacement charge: 60 percent of the original purchase price.

You can read the full Limited Warranty terms here.

Foam-top mattresses may adjust to your body and form shallow body impressions. These impressions are normal and do not jeopardize the support or integrity of the mattress.

However, Alaskan King Sleep's mattress warranty does cover significant deterioration of a properly-used mattress. The warranty terms define deterioration as "visible indentations of more than 1 inch." To remain eligible for warranty coverage, you must use your mattress on a proper foundation or base, not exceeding the weight limit stated in the warranty.

Please email us at support@alaskankingsleep.com to make a warranty claim. An Alaskan King Sleep customer service expert will guide you through the process.

Mattresses, upholstery, and stuffed articles must have law labels that inform consumers of the materials used to make the product. Law labels for all products must remain in place—removing the labels from a mattress will void the warranty.

Mattress Setup & Care

Box Contents

Box 1: Compressed roll with two mattress core quadrants

Box 2: Compressed roll with two mattress core quadrants

Box 3: One compressed foam topper and one mattress shell

Setup Instructions

Excited to unpack your new bed? Follow the steps below for fast and easy assembly! Just remember to exercise caution while lifting, positioning, and unwrapping your mattress components.

Step 1:

Open all three boxes and remove their contents. Leave each component in its individual packaging for now.

Step 2:

Unwrap the mattress shell and unzip it to separate the top panel and fabric border. Set the top panel aside for later and spread the fabric border out on top of your foundation. Make sure the four corners line up with the base.

Step 3:

Start with one of the mattress rolls and place it on the ground. Note that the plastic roll contains two quadrants stacked on top of each other and then compressed. Make sure there's enough space for them to fully unravel before opening the plastic—once air enters the wrap, the mattresses will expand quickly and may exert force. Carefully cut the plastic wrap, and let the mattresses unroll and expand until they lay flat.

Step 4:

Lift one of the mattress quadrants and place it on top of your foundation within the fabric border. Then, line it up in one of the four corners of the bed. Do the same with the second quadrant; the order does not matter, as all the quadrants are identical.

Step 5:

Repeat steps 3 and 4 with the remaining mattress core quadrants. Together, they’ll create a 108-inch by 108-inch square.

Step 6:

Grab the mattress topper roll and position it on top of the mattress core quadrants. Be prepared for the roll to unravel and carefully cut the plastic wrap. Once the topper lays flat, discard the plastic and line the topper up with the quadrants so they meet in all four corners. Ensure the word “Medium” printed on the topper is right side up.

Step 7:

Now take the top panel from the mattress shell. With the backing facing downward, line it up and lay it flat on top of the mattress topper.

Step 8:

Pull up the border fabric so it covers the bed's edges. To secure the top panel, zip it to the top edge of the border fabric all around the mattress perimeter.

That's It!

Give the mattress a few hours to fully expand, then enjoy the royal treatment of an Alaskan King size bed.

Why wait to enjoy your new bed? We recommend opening all three boxes within a few days of arrival so you can start sleeping better as soon as possible. If you do not open them within 30 days of FedEx delivery, the lifetime warranty and sleep trial period will be voided.

Yes, we strongly recommend using a foundation with your Alaskan King Sleep mattress. While you technically can sleep with your mattress directly on the floor, we caution against it.

Foundations add necessary structure and support and elevate your mattress off the ground, which allows ample air circulation. Airflow not only helps keep your mattress cool, but it also prevents moisture from building up, which can bacteria and mold.

You should also know that forgoing a foundation will invalidate your mattress warranty. You can read the full terms of our Limited Warranty here.

Your Alaskan King mattress requires a foundation with a platform roughly 108 to 109 inches wide and 108 to 109 inches long. Our Alaskan King Bed Frame is the perfect fit and offers lasting support with solid Cherry hardwood construction.

If you choose to purchase any of the following products for your Alaskan King sleep setup, you'll need Alaskan King size models. Smaller sizes (even Wyoming, Texas, or Alberta King versions) are not compatible with Alaskan King mattresses.

Mattress Protector– Alaskan King mattress protectors fit tight around your mattress and measure 108 inches wide by 108 inches long. The Luxe Alaskan King Mattress requires a pocket depth of 13 inches or more.

Mattress Topper– Your mattress topper must have the same length and width as your mattress: 108 by 108 inches.

Fitted Sheet– Alaskan King fitted sheets fit tight around your mattress and measure 108 inches wide by 108 inches long. The Luxe Alaskan King Mattress requires a pocket depth of 13 inches or more.

Flat Sheet– Alaskan King flat sheets typically measure around 125 by 125 inches, but dimensions vary depending on the overhang.

Comforter or Duvet– Alaskan King comforters and duvets typically measure around 136 by 120 inches, but dimensions vary depending on the overhang.

It's up to you how many pillows to use with your Alaskan King size bed. However, the most common pillow arrangement is four King size pillows side by side.

If needed, you can spot-clean the surface of your mattress by hand using a damp cloth and mild detergent. Let it dry completely before redressing the bed.

Yes, rotating your mattress 180 degrees every six months can help prevent impressions and spread out regular wear and tear.
